Mahindra has officially launched its much-anticipated Mahindra XUV 7E, a premium electric SUV designed for the next generation of eco-conscious and performance-oriented Indian buyers. The XUV 7E stands out with its futuristic design language, luxurious interior, advanced features, and most importantly, an exceptional claimed range of up to 680 kilometers on a single charge. Built on Mahindra’s new INGLO EV platform, this SUV is ready to challenge competitors like the Tata Avinya, Hyundai Ioniq 5, and BYD Seal.
Futuristic Design with Aerodynamic Presence
The Mahindra XUV 7E features a sleek coupe-style silhouette, flush door handles, LED DRLs with an illuminated front fascia, and 21-inch alloy wheels that enhance its modern, muscular stance. The design is not only aesthetic but also aerodynamic, helping improve efficiency and overall EV performance. The coupe-SUV layout gives it a sporty yet elegant character, making it a head-turner on Indian roads.
680KM Range with High-Performance Battery and Motor
Under the hood, the XUV 7E is expected to pack a dual motor setup delivering over 250 bhp and 500 Nm torque, allowing for 0–100 km/h acceleration in under 6 seconds. It will come with a large 80–90 kWh battery pack, capable of offering up to 680 km certified range in ideal conditions. It also supports DC fast charging, letting users charge up to 80% in under 30 minutes via high-speed chargers.
Luxury Cabin with Tech-Rich Experience
Inside, the XUV 7E boasts a minimalist and premium cabin, featuring a panoramic touchscreen display, digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, ambient lighting, ventilated seats, premium upholstery, and ADAS Level 2 safety features. It also includes a multi-zone climate control system, voice assistant, and OTA software update support.
Price and Availability in India
The Mahindra XUV 7E is expected to be priced starting at around ₹28–35 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be available in multiple variants, including single-motor and dual-motor AWD configurations. The bookings are expected to open later this year, with deliveries beginning in early 2026 via Mahindra’s new EV showrooms and online portals.
